Privacy

This page covers people who visit the Rintent website. It asks for nothing the site does not use.

Draft pending review by Portuguese counsel. It describes what Rintent does today and will change when the company is formed.

Who is responsible

Rintent (provisional name), responsible person Ian Ross. The company has not been formed yet, so until it is, the responsible person answers for this data.

What is collected

The site's own usage events: which page opened, which step of an example was reached. They carry no name, no email and nothing you typed.

What you type to make an example yours (business name, town, a link) is used to prepare that example. It is kept as a draft, tied to a cookie in your browser, for thirty days from your last edit, and then it is deleted.

If you save the setup: your email address, or the one on your Google account, and the setup itself (your business, what you want to happen, the rules you changed and the example you saw).

The example conversation on the demonstration pages is never stored: it lives only in your browser session.

What is not done

The site has no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers. Nothing about you is sold, and nothing is shared with other businesses.

Why, and on what basis

To show the example and keep the site safe and working: legitimate interest. To keep your saved setup: your request. If you give consent for anything optional, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who else handles it

The providers that host the site, store the database, send email and run the AI service behind the example. They work on our instructions and are bound by contract.

How long it is kept

A draft setup that you did not save is kept for thirty days from your last edit and then deleted. A saved setup stays until you delete it. The example conversation on the demonstration pages is never stored: it lives only in your browser session. The site's anonymous measurement and cost records are kept for ninety days, and the counters that limit example conversations for two days.

Transfers outside the European Union

Three of those providers are based in the United States: Anthropic, which runs the AI service behind the example, Resend, which sends email, and Vercel, which hosts the site. What reaches them is limited to what each one needs for that job. The safeguard is the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, with an assessment of each transfer; the agreements are signed by the company once it is formed.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete what we keep about you, object to its use, and complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).

If you saved a setup, you have an account, and you exercise these rights from it. If you saved nothing, the setup is not tied to an account and expires after thirty days.

Talking to a business's assistant

When you talk to the assistant of a business, that business is responsible for the conversation and has its own privacy notice, linked from the conversation.
